Energy Performance Lead

Energy engineering - RE2020 - Thermal systems design

ARKEMEP (Groupe ARKORIS) - Aix-en-Provence branch

ARKEMEP, the ARKORIS Group's thermal, acoustic and fluids engineering office, works with public and private sector clients to design and manage building energy systems. Our expertise covers environmental performance (RE2020), the dimensioning of climatic, aeraulic, hydraulic and electrical installations, and the optimization of projects with a low-carbon approach. As part of our development, we are recruiting a Energy Performance Lead to structure, secure and support energy performance initiatives for construction and renovation projects.

Your mission: design, optimize, guarantee

You will be in charge of energy performance studies and system sizing, in compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements. You will contribute to the technical robustness of projects, from the initial studies through to construction supervision, in coordination with architects, design offices and the Group's in-house teams.

Your main responsibilities

  • Carry out RE2020 energy performance studies: simulations, calculations, scenario analyses, sizing of heating and HVAC systems.
  • Produce regulatory certificates: PC16-1 and associated documents, formalization of performance commitments.
  • Design plans for insulation, ventilation and thermal systems, in conjunction with other trades (acoustics, ecology, certification).
  • Optimizing technical solutions: integrating low-carbon objectives, analyzing construction choices, identifying levers for improvement.
  • Coordinate and structure: ensure technical synthesis of studies, monitor deliverables, guarantee quality and meet deadlines.
  • Participate in project meetings: dialogue with project owners, contribution to technical arbitration, securing operational milestones.
Expected profile

  • 5 years' higher education in energy, thermal or building engineering.
  • Proven experience in a design office or project management in the field of energy performance.
  • Mastery of RE2020 and RT2012 regulations, HVAC systems and thermal simulation tools.
  • Analytical skills, methodological rigor, ability to synthesize.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, stable position in project coordination.
Why join ARKEMEP?

  • A clear position: independent engineering, rooted in technical and regulatory robustness.
  • A cross-functional environment: interaction with the ARKORIS group's certification, diagnostics and ecology divisions.
  • A stable framework: permanent contract, executive status, 37h, 12 RTT, profit-sharing, target-based bonuses.
  • A respectful organization: controlled opening hours, agency located in Aix-en-Provence (Les Milles business park), multimodal access.
  • A dynamic development process: internal and external training, skills enhancement towards broader functions.
